Training Philosophy

Sabrina’s training philosophy can be summed up fairly accurately with the label Force and Fear Free. This means that she chooses not to use any methods or tools that utilize pain, fear or intimidation.

When approaching any behaviour or training problem the first step is always to ensure that the emotional and physical needs of the dog are being met consistently.

From there the emphasis is on both management (keeping everyone safe and limiting exposure to triggers) and ethical, science based training that teaches our dogs new coping skills.
